Randy Travis Suffers a Stroke

Randy Travis's health went from bad to worse last night when he suffered a stroke while still in the hospital being treated for congestive heart failure.

Doctors performed emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain and Randy remains in critical condition.

According to Randy's publicist,  "As a complication of his congestive heart failure, Mr. Randy Travis suffered a stroke.  His family and friends here with him at the hospital request your prayers and support."

All of this went down just a couple of hours after two of the doctors who've been treating Randy released a video explaining he was showing signs of improvement.
