Progress of the Newest Race Track in the Northeast

Every month the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) in Watkins Glen has a Conversations monthly speaker series. A speaker will come and talk about the latest racing events or they honor local racing legends from the area.

This month it'll be a panel of speakers and it takes place this Saturday (6/18) at a special time. The spotlight will shine on the progress of the Northeast's newest race track, Central NY Raceway Park.

The founders and developers of the facility will speak at 11am. 

The speakers will be Glenn Donnelly, Raceway Park president and CEO; John Lehman, Raceway Park vice president; Jerry Henderberg, Raceway Park general manager; and Peter Argetsinger, track designer.

Saturday you can learn the latest news about the progress of Central NY Raceway Park (CNYRP.)

The track will host Super DIRT Week, Oct 5-9th. Super DIRT Week had been held at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse for the last 44 years.

The Racing Research Center is at 610 S. Decatur St., Watkins Glen. The Center staff notes that the starting time of the talk is earlier than the usual monthly time (1pm). The talk is free and open to all.
