Pro golfer's make a lot of money. They also do many good things for charity as well. We don't hear about it much so it's nice to pass it along.

Rory McIlroy is currently the #3 golfer in the world and last weekend, he won the Irish Open, thanks to two fantastic shots at the end. It was also the first time he won in Ireland.

Rory was born and raised in Ireland. So the Irish Open is his “home” tournament and that always mean extra pressure. Just ask Justin Spieth.

Last week, Justin was playing in his "home" state of Texas. He was in second place going in to the final day and ended up in 18th.

Anyway, Rory fought back tears as he talked about what winning the event meant to him, and then announced that he donated the entire $750,000 first place money to his charity, the Rory Foundation, which he established to improve the lives of kids and families.

It was a big win for Rory and even a bigger win for the kids. Congrats Rory.

By the way the PGA tour, gives a lot back to charity as well. Last year they gave over $160 million to charities including over 1 million to the Broome County Community Charities at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open in 2015.
