I can’t even tell you how much I love all of the police lip sync videos that I’ve been seeing on social media lately. Each time I think I’ve found my absolute favorite, a new video comes along that takes the top spot. However, no lip sync video will ever top this one from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office. Before watching the video, I read the comments that it was an emotional view, but I didn’t expect to cry as hard as I did. Out of all of the lip sync videos I’ve watched, this is and will be the very best lip sync challenge video of them all because not only is it very well produced, it comes with a powerful message. A message of strength and hope.

Whether you’re a male or female, if your partner is using their body or objects to cause physical harm to you, including choking, kicking, shoving and such, you may be in an abusive relationship. If your partner is attacking you emotionally by throwing out threats, you may be in an abusive relationship. If someone is forcing you to perform sexual acts that you don’t want to, you may be in an abusive relationship. If someone is hurting your children, your animals, preventing you from leaving your home, keeping you from your family or friends, destroying the things that belong to you, you may be in an abusive relationship.

If you’re afraid of your partner and believe that you might be in an abusive situation, there are legal protections available. You can get help. There is a way out. If you’re afraid to leave because of financial concerts, fear for your children, pressure from others, or because you’re terrified of the partner who is hurting you, know that there’s an army of people who will cloak you, your kids, and your family in protection so that you can live a life free of fear and hurt.
