Peyton Manning surprised Nashville patrons at local bar Winners last night (April 4), when he joined Lee Brice and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay for a performance of "Rocky Top."

Brice took the stage earlier that night for the bar's weekly music series, Whiskey Jam, which showcases local talent as well as frequent surprise guests like Manning.

In the 30-second video clip, Manning can be seen singing the lyrics while Brice and Mooney clap along in unison. At ease on the stage, it's no surprise that this wasn't Manning's first time singing behind a microphone. In 2003, Manning surprised concertgoers at Kenny Chesney's first-ever stadium show at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to sing on “Back Where I Come From.”

Just last month Manning appeared with Cole Swindell at a benefit concert at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent. Dressed in a suit, Manning joined Swindell onstage and assisted on the last verse of David Allan Coe’s “You Never Even Called Me by My Name” as he and Swindell shared a microphone. Meanwhile, fans in the audience sang and danced along to the song selection.

“I had a chance to meet him earlier this year,” Swindell says. “You can’t really explain to somebody how if somebody’s genuine or real. It’s crazy. When you’re in the spotlight and you’re a superstar like him and you’re kind to everybody and a good person, it’s funny how much more impactful that is than not. Peyton Manning is not only a great athlete, he’s a great person.”
