On February 18, 2015 the life of Shawn Winston was unexpectedly changed when he collapsed at work due to an aneurysm.  Shawn is a 33 year old who is now, after 5 weeks of hospitalization, in need of long term rehabilitation and could use the support of his community.

Shawn is planning to be married in 2016.  He is now unable to work for an undermined length of time and is in a rehabilitation facility in order to receive the therapy and care that he requires. The Lisle Fire Station is hosting a pasta dinner for Shawn Saturday Noon-6pm.  All proceeds will benefit Shawn Winston, in hopes of helping him with his mounting medical expenses in the aftermath of having a serious aneurysm.

After several tests, procedures, and medications, Shawn still remains in critical condition.  On March 9th he finally opened his eyes to his family.  Shawn has a long road to recovery and needs any help that can be given.

Bring your family and friends, help out one of our own, and enjoy a great pasta dinner at the Lisle Fire Station, 9090 Main Street in the heart of Lisle.  Pasta will be served from Noon-6pm.  Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 children 10 and under and children 5 and under eat free.  There will also be music, basket raffles, and a 50/50 raffle.

The Hawk sends our prayers and best wishes to Shawn Winston and family.
