Pancake Eaters Wanted to Benefit Your Favorite Charity

Pancake Eaters Wanted! This is your chance to eat pancakes, your chance to pig out and to be honored for it. It's a dream come true and the best part is, you'll be helping out a cause/charity of YOUR choice. So what are you waiting for?

I've participated in the pancake eating contest in Marathon before and it's an experience that I'll never forget. I was eating pancakes like I was on a timer...that's because I was. So here's my question - Does your not-for-profit organization want a fun way to make money? How about eating pancakes to raise some funds?

The Central NY Maple Festival in Marathon is looking for pancake eaters, but time is running out if you want to eat pancakes at their 23rd Annual Pancake Eating Contest on Saturday, April 6th. The contest starts at 9 am, and kicks off the first day of the two-day 49th Annual CNY Maple Festival.

This event is a win-win for everyone. It is a perfect way to begin the annual festival and it gives not-for-profit organizations a fun way to raise money. You get pledges for every pancake that is eaten and here is an added bonus- the Maple Festival will give $2 to each organization for each pancake the person eating on their behalf is able to eat.

Enter now by sending a post card or letter to Pancake Eating Contest, P.O. Box 291, Marathon, NY 13803. Give the name of the organization, the address, the contact person and their phone number.

Don't forget to include the name of the pancake eater and their contact information including mailing and telephone number. When the Maple Festival approves the entry, you can start getting pledges.
