Opening Act Named For the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open

It's almost here. The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open. It's happening July 5th-10th. One of the great things about this is that it's much more then golf and a Champions Tour Event.

Nancy Lopez is doing a Health Expo on Tuesday the 5th. One of the thing's I really look forward to is the Johnny Hart Memorial Christian Fellowship Breakfast on Thursday the 7th. I take the day off of work to attend.

New this year, is the 'Walk to Defeat ALS' on Sunday the 10th.

However for many, the thing that they look forward to the most is the Friday night concert. For the past three years, they've been wise and brought in country acts. It continues this year with Florida George Line.

They've announced the opening act for FLG. It's The Cadillac Three (TC3). They rocked the stage when they were at the Taste of Country Music Festival on June 10th at Hunter Mountain and now you'll have a chance to enjoy them again.

They also earned an ACM Nomination in 2015 for Vocal Event of the Year for the song "The South" with Florida Georgia Line and Dierks Bentley.

They'll take the stage at 8pm.

By the way, many people have asked why the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open is a month earlier this year. It's because of the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Golf is an Olympic event this year.
