A ridiculous amount of fun is planned for the fourth of July in Oneonta- so much fun that it's being spread out over the course of two days!

The celebration steps off on Friday July 4th at 12pm with the Hometown 4th parade from Foothills down Main Street to Neahwa Park. Following the parade, there will be a variety of entertainment on the Basketball Court Stage at Neahwa Park including Mike the Juggler at 1pm, Hillbilly Junkyard at 5:45pm and Cosmic Karma Fire at 8pm. The main stage will feature music from just about every genre from 1pm to 10pm including blues and soul from Reservoir Road, Dixieland from Fredtown Stompers and psychedelic original music from the Pipebenders plus lots of others. At 9:20pm, you won’t want to miss the Five Star Subaru’s Fantastic Fireworks Display!

On Saturday July 5th there will be a Blendo’s Community Kickball Game at Neahwa Park where all are welcome at 12pm. You’ll need to sign up at the basketball courts behind the large pavilion near the skate park at 11:30am. From 1-3:30pm will be the Blendo’s Summer League Basketball Games. 1-4pm is when you can check out the Battle of the Bands Preliminaries and live music on the main stage. At 5pm will be the Blendo’s Community Volleyball Game. All are welcome to participate in this event as well, but you’ll need to sign up at 4:30pm at the basketball court behind the large pavilion by the skate park.

In addition to the games and music, there will also be a children’s activity area, arts and crafts, BBQ, Farmers Market and SO much more. See what else is planned here.
