It's a end of summer but not quite fall yet tradition in my home town of Warren Center, Pa.  It's the 8th annual Olde Time Cruise-in and Family Days. It's this Sunday beginning at 9am.

Do you have an antique, classic, custom, tractor, bike or ratrod vehicle that you want to show off?  I'll be honest, I had to ask what a Ratrod was.  It's the mutt of the automobiles, at least that's how I heard it explained to me.

It's a beautiful trip to the countryside.  I always feel like I'm going back in time when I go to Warren Center.  In fact, you can have your "ride" or anything else photographed in front of the restored Sinclair gas station.

The cars start rolling in around 8:30 or so. You can show up with your vehicle anytime. They don't judge the cars.  It's just a chance to have your vehicle admired. It's also a great time to meet up or make new friends. They'll also have live music and playground for the kids.

It's at the Warren Township Community Center and the weather looks good. It's supposed to be sunny and 68. If you want to find out more or have questions, e-mail Jeff at Tread40@yahoo.com.

If you're wondering where my childhood home is, well it's in the center of Warren Center.  When you're at the stop sign by Wagner store, look to the right kitty corner. My house is the one with all the plants and bushes (etc.) in the front and a Port a John on the side (It's fake.....sure it is.)  There's also a sign that says "Pitcher" on it...That's the real giveaway.

Take a trip back in the country and time and enjoy the Olde Time Cruise-in and Family Days.  Say Hi to Masquaw and Pops, they like friendly people and you could make new friends.
