Polka, dancing, eating, stein holding, it’s all in one place this upcoming Saturday at the Parlor City Oktoberfest. You have heard all about the live music, the food, and the drink across all of our radio stations and 98.1 The Hawk. Now is the time to reveal the full line-up and schedule of events for the day.

Our Stein Holding Competition will be tons of fun, so we’ll have a few throughout the day. We tentatively have these schedule for 11:30am, 1:15pm, and 2:35pm. If you are interested in participating just see a Townsquare Media Binghamton staff member as you enter the Parlor City Oktoberfest.

Our Miss Oktoberfest contest is going to be a whole bunch of fun, and if you want to participate just sign-up with a staff member. The contest will kick off right around 5pm.

If you plan on dressing up in traditional German clothing or anything party and fall related we are having a Best Dressed Contest! Sign-up the same way you would for the other contests, and this will get underway around 2:45pm

The Egomaniacs are ready to provide some live music and be the soundtrack to your day of enjoying the Parlor City Oktoberfest. They will be performing two sets throughout the day. Check them out between 12pm and 1pm then again at 1:30pm until around 2:30pm.

The John Steven’s Doubleshot Polka Band brings the polka power all night long. They’ll be doing multiple sets of music from 4pm until the end of the event at 8pm. You cannot miss these guys!

The Czechoslovak Moravan Club Dancers will have some amazing traditional dancing starting around 3pm, and the Binghamton Zoo Mobile will be onsite 12pm-3pm. Face painting for the kids will be going on from 1pm-3pm.

The Parlor City Oktoberfest happens October 14th at Mountain Top Grove on Hance Road in Vestal. It will feature tons of live music and an exclusive, traditional German food menu that will only be available at this event. Strange Brew will be onsite providing delicious German desserts as well. We hope to see you there!
