Oktoberfest Food, Music and Brews this Weekend in Maine New York

What do you get when you raise a huge tent up, invite some great local bands, bring in some great homemade traditional Oktoberfest food, some cold brews, delicious baked goods, a giant country store and a chance to win $10 Grand?

You have a huge Oktoberfest Festival at the Most Holy Rosary Church, Rt. 26, in the heart of Maine, New York, only a few miles outside of Endicott.  This year’s fest is Friday Oktober 3rd, from 6pm-11pm, Saturday the 4th from Noon to 11pm and Sunday, Oktober 5th from 11am to 5pm.

As always, admission is free and is a great family event that features a kid’s courtyard filled with children’s games and a casino tent for adults.  Something for everyone.

Local bands take the stage Friday night 7-11pm Old Friends return to sing the songs everyone knows.  Saturday 1-5pm, the fun, Patsy White & Doublewide, the traditional BC Celtic Pipe & Drum from 6-6:30pm, and Frostbit Blue from 7-11pm.  Remedy will take the "Maine" stage Sunday 12:30-4:30pm. 

Right now the weather is looking perfect for Oktoberfest festivities with daytime temperatures expected in the mid 70′s and nighttime in the mid to upper 50′s.

Oktoberfest is easy to find, located on Rt. 26 in the heart of Maine.  Look for the HAWK van Friday 5-7pm with me and you can't miss the huge white tents on Main Street in the parking lot of Most Holy Rosary Church.
