Nominees for This Years Toy Hall Of Fame
Everything from Alphabet Blocks to the View Master has been inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame and here are the nominees for the final selections.
Each year the Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester New York puts up a list of Toys that have been nominated, they generally select 3 or more toys to be inducted into that year.
The Hall was created in 1998 and recognizes the most influential toys of your lives.
Many of us relive our youth through various toys that we owned and played with during those years.
Just like people relate to certain songs that bring back past memories, people tend to do the same thing with Toys.
Last year’s inductions were the Swing, Dungeons and Dragons, and Fisher-Price Little People.
This year’s nominees are Clue, Magic 8 Ball, Matchbox Cars, My Little Pony, Paper Airplane, PEZ Candy Dispenser, Play Food, Risk, Sand, Transformers, Uno, and the Wiffle Ball.
If I had to pick three of these toys that take me back to my days on the East Side of Binghamton, they are Matchbox Cars, PEZ Candy Dispenser and of course the Wiffle Ball.
This year’s Finalists will be announced on November 9th
