The Binghamton Rumble Ponies could change their name to the Sea Horses with all the rain they've been getting. Last night's game against the Akron RubberDucks was postponed due to the rainy weather. They will attempt to kick off their series tonight at 5:35 pm.

The teams will resume the game in the bottom of the third inning with Akron leading 6-3. They will play seven innings and follow it up with another seven inning game. The rained-out nightcap will be made up in Akron at a date to be announced.

Last night's rain-out was the 13th this season and the 9th at home. The Binghamton record for postponed games in one season is 15 set in 1992.

Tonight will be a first in Minor League Baseball, when you are asked to put down your phone. It could get you a free dinner from Rumble Ponies owner, John Hughes. It includes fun interactive family trivia including "How Well Do You Know Your Mother and Father?" courtesy of 98.1 the Hawk.

I'm kind of curious how my kids would answer those questions.....on second thought, I don't want to know. The Ponies have developed a Shun Camera that will focus on fans caught using their mobile device during the game. HOW COOL!

Two games for the price of one and dinner could be free. First pitch is at 5:35.
