Well a couple of weeks ago, the Governors of NY and LA made a friendly bet on the Ranger/Kings Stanley Cup finals. Well the mayors of NYC and LA got in on it too. Monday night was pay up time.

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio lost to LA Mayor Eric Carcetti.  Bill was forced to sing Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." on Jimmy Kimmel Live. De Blasio showed up via satellite from New York where he was joined by 10 kids from the 52nd Street Project for the performance.

If the Rangers had won the series, Garcetti would have sang Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" on the Kimmel show and provided the audience with Pink's Hot Dogs.

The Mayor also gave the audience at the Kimmel show hot dogs from New York's Gray's Papaya as part of the bet payoff. Garcetti refused to eat a NY dog, instead he chowed down on a dog from Pink's in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the day, Garcetti was at Kings victory rally, he said "There are two rules in politics: they say never ever be pictured with a drink in your hand and never swear, but this is a big f*#*#* day; way to go guys!”

He said that while holding what appeared to be an aluminum Bud Light bottle. I say, "Way to keep it classy."
