New Year’s Eve Events in Binghamton
New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest nights of the year for parties and if you’re looking to get out and have some fun, but aren’t sure what’s happening, this is for you!
Here are a few of the things happening the greater Binghamton area this New Year’s Eve:
First Night Windsor- Main and Chapel Streets, Windsor- 6pm-12am.
This is an alcohol free family event with free parking to and from the Windsor High School parking lot. Free admission includes 14 venues filled with fun for all ages. There will also be hot foods, drinks and desserts.
Casablanca with the Tri Cities Opera at the Binghamton Club-7pm-1am.
$100 per ticket includes an unforgettable evening of festivities, complete with fine dining, dancing, champagne and live entertainment by Tri Cities Opera stars.
Party on the Patio- Holiday Inn Binghamton- 7:30pm-1am
Party on the Patio is back for New Year’s Eve 2014. You’ll keep warm in the newly modeled Triple Cities Ballroom. Michael Pinco, a renowned DH from Virginia and Washington DC will be your host . The night will also feature comedian Joe Davis and Medium and Psychic Linda D.
Old Hollywood Glam, Red Carpet Reception- DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton
$299.00 per couple includes six hour open bar, hor d’ oeuvres, dinner, dessert stations, overnight guestroom, breakfast buffet and all taxes and gratuities.
Tioga Downs- Noon Years Eve Celebration from 12pm-2pm.
You could win $500 cash with drawings at 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm and 2pm. Also happening is the New Years Eve Buffet from 4pm-10pm and the New Year’s Eve Party from 9pm-1am.
Masquerade in the Mansion- Roberson Museum- 9pm-?
$45 per person will allow you to enjoy the celebration on multiple floors of the Roberson Mansion and include music, dancing in the ballroom, fun and entertainment, hors d’ oeuvres, a champagne toast and more.
YMCA Family Resolution 5k Fun Run/Walk- YMCA of Broome County
A family centered 5k run/walk race in Otsiningo Park. After the 1pm ace there will be a social with refreshments and prize drawings. Tickets are $19 for individuals and $55 for family. Call 607-770-9622.
New Year’s Eve at The Ranch Bar and Grill
A $10 cover at the door includes light snacks and finger foods with a champagne toast at midnight. The Kolby Oakley Band starts at 9pm.
New Year’s Eve International at the Discovery Center- 11am-3pm
The Discovery Center is two-stepping across the globe this New Year’s Eve. They’ll play “Catch the Duck,” a New Year’s family tradition from South Korea, after the 11am balloon drop. Ring in the Greek New Year at 12pm with paper boat lanterns and kalanta dancing. Then jet over to Central America at 1 pm for a special performance of Latin American dancing by Central American students from SUNY Broome. Finally, you’ll end up in Israel at 2pm for the hoar and make your own shofar, or ram’s horn trumpets.
