The Maine Endwell Little League is on their victory/celebration tour and we couldn't be prouder of them. Not only for the way they played on the field but how they've handled themselves off of it as well.

On Thursday, they were at the Great New York State Fair. However it's not the only baseball event that's going on there. They are having a Home Run Derby and Skills Challenge.  All young athletes from New York State are invited.

Today (9/2) is for athletes from Little League's Challenger Division. It's for developmentally and physically challenged young athletes. It involves pitching speed, throwing accuracy, a relay race and a home run derby.

On Saturday from 9a-12p, Mark Lukasiewicz will be signing autographs and meeting the young athletes. He played for Anaheim in 2002 when the Angels won the World Series.

The baseball challenge runs through September 5th.

Other athletic activities include the return of the National Arm Wrestling League's New York State Championships. It's back for a second year on Sunday, the 4th.

Most events are for professional and amateur arm wrestlers, there are divisions for first time are wrestlers including children. For more info or to register, go here.

This year's theme is "Find Your Great." It looks like you'll be able to find many great new things at the Fair this year.
