Country fans don't realize all the people that are behind the scenes that bring their favorite country stars to town.  Most of these behind the scenes people are like family to their bosses.  Personal loss can hit them hard.

I'll never forget years ago when Reba McEntire suffered a tragic loss shortly before she appeared at a HAWK show at the Broome County Arena in Binghamton.  Most of Reba's band and crew died in an airplane crash while on tour with the singer.  It's a subject that she explored in her album "For My Broken Heart."

Neal McCoy, who's hot right now on the new Blake Shelton "Ten Times Crazier" tour, recently lost one of his good friends, his long time bus driver David Bledsoe on August 11th.  The singer reacted to the his death on his Facebook page and Twiiter account.

"Lost a long time friend and a Great guy and bus driver last night," the Facebook post reads. "David Bledsoe was with me over 1,000,000 miles. Like that poem says, and 'Miles to go before I sleep' We got them miles buddy.... Go sleep now!!"

On behalf of all your Binghamton area fans Neal, our hearts go out to you today and sorry for your loss.
