NBC to Donald Trump – “You’re Fired”

It's official - NBC has kicked Donald Trump out the door and off his show, 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt confirmed on Thursday that NBC has officially given Donald Trump the boot from 'Celebrity Apprentice' over his comments about Mexican immigrants. But Greenblatt made it very clear that 'Celebrity Apprentice' will be back for the 2016-17 season with a new host. He says they've been "overwhelmed by a number of really exciting people who have come forward and are interested in taking over the show."

The rumor mill has been tossing around George Lopez's name, but Greenblatt says that some of the names being "bandied about...are simply not true."
