National Wear Red Day: Go Red for the Women in Your Life on Friday
Heart disease is the number one killer of women, killing more women than every single form of cancer combined. Sadly, most women don’t notice the symptoms of heart disease until it’s too late and this is why heart disease has been dubbed the ‘silent killer.’
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement invites all women and those who love them to celebrate National Wear Red Day tomorrow, Friday, February 7th.
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women asks all women to Go Red by wearing red, living a healthy lifestyle and spreading the message that heart disease is killing the women in our lives-our moms, daughters, sisters and friends.
To speak out and raise awareness of the disease taking so many lives, wear red tomorrow, on National Wear Red Day and help keep the women in your life informed about how they can make heart healthy lifestyle choices and reduce their risk for heart disease.
Learn what symptoms you should look out for so that you can share your knowledge with the women in your life and join the Go Red movement here.
