Nancy Lopez Golf Clinic and Women’s Health Event Is Today

The Dick's Sporting Goods Open week has begun. The Pro-Am starts this morning.  Zac Brown will perform a sold out show on Friday night (8/15).  The Wendy's Walk for Kids is Sunday afternoon (8/17).  This afternoon is for the ladies.

World Golf Hall of Fame member Nancy Lopez, is here for the "UHS Pearls of Wisdom with Nancy Lopez Golf Clinic and Women's Health Event." The event starts at 4 with Ms. Lopez's golf clinic beginning at 6:30.

Women will be able to join Nancy for a free golf clinic, gaining tips on how to improve their golf games. This year exhibits will feature activities to help women stay fit and remain active.

Lopez has 48 LPGA Tour Victories and three Major Championships.  In 1978 she became the only LPGA Tour member to win Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, and the Vare Trophy in the same season. She won the Player of the Year trophy four times.
