My Wishes For A Happy New Year 2013

At the beginning of the year, we make resolutions and wishes. I resolve to quit smoking and I wish for world peace for example, and other things that we probably won't keep or get. For 2013 my resolution is to give up resolving (is that even a word, it should be.)  So here are some of my wishes for the year.

I wish there is something we could do about the "Check Engine" light.  Does anyone really do anything, when it comes on.  I know that I can put tape over the light and that it costs me money to have the car inspector get it to go off.  My phone can tell me the location and menu of my favorite restaurant but my car can't give me a clue to what's wrong!

I wish more celebrities would keep their money in America.  Instead of vacationing in Denmark, why not vacation in Denver.  Don't have your 50 million dollar wedding in Rome, Italy, get married in Rome, Pa.  I mention Rome Pa because it is near my childhood hometown and they don't get enough publicity from me (probably because they beat my Warren Center Little League team 35 years ago.)

I'm not big into apps but I wish someone would invent an app for my phone to help me find it when I misplace it.  I would say "Where is my phone" and Suri would respond with "You're getting warmer.....warmer.....now you're red hot."  That's something useful that Suri could help me with.  Although I can't tell you how many times I'vr been looking for the phone while I'm talking on it....I'll give you a moment to figure that one out.

Finally I wish for more reality TV shows.....Kidding, just seeing if you were paying attention. So here's my wishes for a bright 2013.....May at least one of my wishes come true.
