I am taking a break for a couple of moments cause my eyes are dry and I realized... I never made a New Year's resolution.

Now, not since I was a child have I made an actual resolution, because the list of things that I needed to resolve were seemingly already lost. Large in size and complicated structure, and too hard for me to wrap my head around. I thought the issues to be too difficult to resolve on my own. I thought this was probably "the way it is supposed to be."

That was PROVEN to be a misunderstanding.

I was lying to myself.

My New Year's resolution will be to invest in humanity.

I have grown tired of the school shootings, the cop killings, and the disgrace against everyone's God given right to just...be. To take the space they have been lent on earth, call it their own and make it great. I've seen innocent children that are very sick. I've seen a very hungry person feed someone else (today) and still, I witness a stranger crying by himself a couple of days ago. When I asked him if he's alright, he tried to fight with me. I think everyone needs a little TLC.

My resolution is from now on, to look at everyone completely different than anyone has looked at them before. I invite you to follow me. Not on social media, but in your hearts and minds. Make yourself see everything and everyone, differently.

I don't have a plan yet, but for my first New Year's resolution in years, I'm going to: #InvestInHumanity .
