Most Dangerous States in America

You would think New York or California would make the list of most dangerous states in the United States but according to 247WallSt.com, and the report released by the FBI, these states did not make the top 10.

The South may have sunshine and warmer weather but the study does not place a positive light on many Southern states, especially a state know as the home for country music.

The 2012 study measured the number of violent crimes such as murders, rapes, robberies and assaults.  Income, poverty and education or lack there of, also came in to play with the crime study.

Here are the most dangerous states in the USA:

3. Alaska
4. New Mexico
5. South Carolina
6. Delaware
7. Louisiana
8. Florida
9. Maryland
10. Oklahoma
