It's that time of year again when Christmas is celebrated in Montrose with three days of holiday fun for everyone! Christmas in Montrose means a full weekend of events including free children’s movies, shopping at local church bazaars, live music and much more.

Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to at Christmas in Montrose, happening this Friday-Sunday, December 4th through 6th:

Friday, December 4th:
9am-4pm- Christmas Craft Fair at the Montrose Bible Conference Dining Hall.

10am-4pm- Around the World Nativities at Torrey Home, Montrose Bible Conference

5pm– Chocolate Santa Roll at Chocolates by Leopold

5:30pm – Christmas Tree lighting and Dedication Ceremony at the corner of Public Avenue & Church Street.

5:45pm – Christmas Caroling & Chocolate Fountain S’mores

Saturday, December 5:
Various Christmas Church Bazaars
8:30am to 2:30pm– Christmas Department Store at Montrose United Methodist Church
9pm to 3pm– Christmas Spirit at First Presbyterian Church
9am to 3pm– Annual Christmas Bazaar at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church
9am to 3pm – The Country Store at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

9am to 4pm – Christmas Craft Fair at the Montrose Bible Conference.

9am– Jingle Bell Run – 3 mile run/walk starting at the courthouse steps – Toy donation for participation. Pets welcome!

10am – Chocolate Santa decorating at Chocolates by Leopold

10am to 2pm – Cupcake Decorating – Seneca Bridal & Dress Boutique (NEW location at Tannery Place)

10am to 4pm – Around the World Nativities at Torrey Home, Montrose Bible Conference

11:30am and 1:30pm– Free children’s movie – The Santa Clause at the Montrose Theatre.

12:30pm to 2:30pm – Free pictures with Santa at the Susquehanna County Library

3pm to 5pm – Festival of Christmas Trees at the Rosemont Inn

Sunday, December 6:
3pm– Christmas Chorale Concert- First Presbyterian Church, 71 Church Street across from Bartron Meyer Funeral Home.
