The local group that helps steer economic development policy in Broome County is offering funding to help small businesses to grow.

The Agency says the Grow Broome Fund, launched in January, has up to $2 million available for lending to eligible small businesses.

The program offers longer term loans, larger loans, larger loans, lower down payments, lower interest rates and better loan structure for qualified businesses.

Companies have to have been in operation for at least three years with two to 500 employees.

Loans range from $150,000 to $2 million.

The Agency says there are no application costs but closing fees apply.
