Miranda Lambert Taking a Break

I'm convinced that Miranda Lambert has the stamina of the Energizer Bunny. But just as batteries eventually start to slow down, so do people.

After years of constantly touring and proving she's one of the hardest working women in country music, Miranda Lambert she's ready for a break and that break starts right now.

Miranda sat down with Fox News and told them she's taking a breather right now. "This is the longest break I've ever had since I was 17, since I started playing music." "It's kind of scary 'cause you just get your autopilot, and you know what you're doing" "And then it's like, 'Wait a minute, do I really, do I remember how to do this?'"

Miranda is giving herself a good amount of time to recharge as she doesn't have a show scheduled until she takes the stage in Texas on June 7th for George Strait's final farewell and then after that, Miranda won't return to touring until July.
