It's been a Southern Tier tradition for the past 22 years and it began last night. It's the Mirabito Stop DWI Holiday Classic at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Mirabito Stop DWI Holiday Classic

It all began with the inaugural Aldo Rossi Jr. Memorial game with members of local police agencies going against each other. Rossi, a Port Dickinson police officer, was struck and killed by a drunk driver in 2008.

The Slam Dunk competition was after that. Both the 3 Point and Slam Dunk competition has been moved from Binghamton H.S. to the Arena.
