I've got an interesting palate and will usually be the first to try strange combinations of foods, but even this is a little bit much for me. Mincemeat ice cream? Um, no.

It's not uncommon to walk into a coffee shop during the holiday season and order up a pumpkin spice late or peppermint coffee, but an ice cream shop in Portland, Oregon is taking things to a new level.

Salt and Straw is offering Apple Cranberry Stuffing, Sweet Potato and Candied Pecans, Pumpkin Custard and Spiced Chevre, Mincemeat and, Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey flavors of ice cream all during the month of November.

All of the favors sound decent except for the mincemeat. My face scrunched up just reading it. I can honestly say that I've never met a person who likes mincemeat. Ever.

What do you think? Would you try any of these flavors?
