Miley Cyrus Surprises All With Jolene

The late Whitney Houston covered Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You,’ and had the biggest hit of her career.  So why not Miley Cyrus doing a cover of Dolly’s 1974 hit,  ‘Jolene?’  It’s a natural considering that Dolly is actually Miley’s Godmother.

The video, recorded last Summer, features the 20-year old singer playing with her band in what looks like is her backyard.  Articles on Miley have stated that her new album will be “unlike anything she has ever done before.”

With ‘Jolene,’ I was surprised to find that she stayed true to the original classic and actually had me wanting to hear more.  It’s nice she is returning to her roots and can really sing.  But I’ll let you determine…
