The next time you get the flu and the lady in your life is less than sympathetic, you might want to point out to her that you’ve got it bad and it’s been scientifically proven.

We all know that a good majority of men turn into a big babies when they're sick and I guess this explains it- researchers at Stanford University say that men get hit harder by the flu than women do.

It seems the flu vaccine is more effective in women than in men. And on top of that, women who actually come down with the flu end up being better at fighting off the virus.

It appears that because men aren't hopped up on estrogen, they're less equipped to deal with infection.
