Men Are More Hygienic Than Women in the Bathroom
A new survey asked people if they think their coworkers always wash their hands after they use the bathroom. 89% of men think their female coworkers always do, but only 43% of women think men always do.
And believe it or not, they're wrong. 96% of both men and women now wash their hands after they use the toilet. And beyond that, men are actually more hygienic.
77% of men clean the toilet seat before they sit down, versus 59% of women.
69% of men close the lid before they flush to keep germs from flying around, versus 63% of women.
And 67% of men avoid touching things in public bathrooms versus 53% of women.
