Meet the Man Who Wants to Marry His Laptop

The last thing people heard about Chris Sevier (the man John Rich has accused of stalking him) was that he'd been told by a judge to stop abusing the justice system. Looks like Chris didn't get the message.

Chris is a compulsive sue-er, who has sued everything from John Rich to Apple to A&E, home of Duck Dynasty and is at it again, this time suing the state of Florida for the right to marry his laptop. That’s right, this guy wants to marry an electronic device.

Chris claims he’s in love with his Macbook and says: “Over time, I began preferring sex with my computer over sex with real women.If gays have the right to “marry their object of sexual desire, even if they lack corresponding sexual parts, then I should have the right to marry my preferred sexual object.”

Sound like a joke right? Well, it’s not because in addition to the Florida lawsuit, Chris (who’s a former attorney!) has filed a similar claim in Utah.

The claim sounds completely absurd, but Chris has similar cases to turn to for comparison, including a case where a woman married a dolphin and a Chinese man wed a cardboard cutout of himself.

It sounds like this guy’s life is all kinds of interesting!
