It's the season for golf! The Open at St. Andrews begins tomorrow morning, and the Dick's Sporting Goods Open is next month. We'll be welcoming one of the newest members of the World Golf Hall of Fame!

It's Mark O'Meara and you won't believe who he didn't mention during his speech.

For the first time, the World Golf Hall of Fame took its ceremony outside the United States. The ceremony was held Monday at Younger Hall at the University of St. Andrews.

In 1998, O’Meara won the Masters and the British Open, the only two major championships on his resume. It was also the last 2 victories for him on the PGA Tour. It was these wins that got him consideration for the Hall.

In the past he had credited Tiger Woods for rejuvenating his career. He said he might have won the 2 majors anyway but mentoring Tiger certainly helped.

They were neighbors and would practice and play together frequently. However at the ceremony, Tiger was no where to be found, leaving Dave Marr III to introduce Mark. During his speech, Mark didn't mention Tiger at all.

Mark will tee it up at 1:34 tomorrow at the Open. You'll have a chance to see him up close and personal at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, Monday August 24th-Sunday August 30th.

Good luck Mark and we'll see you in August!
