My grandparents lived on a street with a bunch of kids, so when I'd go to visit there was always someone to play with but my favorite kid on the street was a boy who liked to play in the mud, climb trees and was a huge fan of the WWF (before it was renamed the WWE).

I can't remember the kid's name, but I remember that he had a mini wrestling ring and action figures of Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. On days when it was raining, we'd play with the ring and action figures. And this is how I was introduced to wrestling.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, was best known for the time he spent in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Savage won 20 championships during his 32-year career. The WWE has named Savage as the greatest champion of all time and credited him for bringing "a higher level of credibility to the title through his amazing in-ring performances." He was also the 1987 WWF King of the Ring and the 1995 WCW World War 3 winner.

Savage was recognized by fans by his deep and raspy voice, his ring attire, intensity, and his signature catch phrase, "Oooh yeah!" Randy died of cardiac arrhythmia on the morning of May 20, 2011.

The WWE has announced they're going to induct “Macho Man” Randy Savage into their Hall of Fame the day before WrestleMania 31 on March 28, 2015.

It's been reported that there was some very bad blood between Savage and WWE head honcho Vince McMahon that up until now had never been put to rest, despite the fact that Savage has been dead for years.
