Between selling out shows, traveling all across the country and playing some of the hottest country festivals, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean very seldom find themselves with days off — especially during the summertime. But when they do, what better way to spend it then together?

After a long weekend of shows, Aldean and Bryan spent their Monday afternoon (May 23) in perfect harmony, on a lake catching some fish. Now isn't that the definition of a country song?

"This is how you spend a day off, rippin lips with Luke Bryan," the star writes.

Aldean is currently on the road on Six String Circus Tour, with openers Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. That trek is winding across the country before it wraps up in Virginia at the beginning of October.

"Lights Come On" is the lead single off Aldean's forthcoming album, which doesn't yet have an official release date. We don't know much about the project, but the country singer did share that this record will have sounds reminiscent of his earlier music.

“This album really does go back to what I do best,” the singer tells Rolling Stone Country. When you go back and listen to the Wide Open album and My Kinda Party … It’s sort of the combination of those two albums. It’s just getting back to what we do. At the end of the day, our core sound is uptempo rock and roll, and the slow to mid-range things are a little country. That’s the system that works for us."

Bryan is also on a tour of his own — the second leg of his Kill the Lights Tour with openers Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch. That show will run through the United States and Canada before it concludes in the beginning of October.
