Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving dinner is Thursday for most but for some, it's tonight and the Salvation Army needs your help.

Tonight (11/21) is the Salvation Army's Thanksgiving dinner and they are in need of 12 pies. It can be any pie, apple, pumpkin, berry, any type of pie..except pie squared.

The dinner is happening at their 127 Washington Street location, downtown Binghamton. If you have questions or need more info, you can call the Salvation Army at (607) 722-2987.

If we can get 12 people to bake a pie then we can help make Thanksgiving a little bit better for those in need. Not a pie baker? You can buy a pie and donate it to them.

Since we are in a volunteering mood, I hope you'll join our family and become a bell ringer for their Red Kettle campaign. We were "ringers" at the Oakdale Mall last year and can't wait to do it again this year. Go here to find out how you can help.

By the way, Eric Church will be performing during halftime of the Washington and Dallas game on Thanksgiving to help the Salvation Army kick off their Red Kettle Campaign as well.

It's the 20th year that Dallas and the Salvation Army have partnered to launch this campaign. The game is on FOX beginning at 4:30.
