It's the holiday season and you want to help those in our area but you're not sure how. I may have the answer. Help out the Broome County Clean Up Crew for their 2nd annual Holiday Hamper this Saturday, December 21st.

It's at a new location at the City Church, 255 Water Street in Binghamton from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. They have been collecting donations since November to give to community members completely free.

"Shoppers" can browse through clothes and have the chance to get a free haircut, free makeover and free mammogram for women through the Lourdes Mammogram Van. Haircuts and makeovers will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Kids can get a photo with Santa and local photographer Alexis Tauteroff will be doing free professional family photos. Free hot chocolate, coffee, pizza, Christmas cookies, and baked goods along with live music.

They are still welcoming donations of clothing, toys, blankets or winter gear. You can contact Brianna Downey at (607) 744-9366, BriannaPDowney@gmail.com or drop them at these business locations.

When you come to the event on December 21st, you are asked to come through the Waters Street entrance. This is an event to remind everyone that they are loved during the holiday season and let people feel a bit pampered.
