Polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common cause of female infertility and the Groton Universal Life Church team is hoping to raise awareness with an event aimed at raising funds to create a support group for local women diagnosed with this condition.

Researchers estimate that five to ten percent of women in the United States have polycystic ovarian syndrome. The Groton Universal Life Church hopes to start a support group and foundation, but to do so needs help.

A dinner and raffle will be held on Saturday April 12th at 1pm at the Groton American Legion Post 800 located on Main Street in Groton.

If you'd like to learn more about attending the dinner and raffle or how you can be part of the support group, please call Reverend Arnold Scott at 607-731-8521.
