A working mother's job is never done—but sometimes, all it takes is the little sound of the voice of one of your kids to get you through the day. And yes, that’s exactly what happened on Monday (Aug. 20) when Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman was live on air on HSN.

“Daisy Pearl!” Schlapman exclaimed as a call came in from none other than her 10-year-old daughter. “Hey darlin’! What are you doing?”

“Ummm,” Daisy Pearl responded. “I’m watching you!”

With her distinctive curly blond hair up in a tight bun for the appearance, Schlapman was visiting the home shopping network to tout her line of Oh Gussie! home goods and kitchenware, She was working hard selling signed copies of her Oh Gussie! cookbook when Daisy Pearl called in.

Naturally, her mother wanted to know what was going on at home. “I’m about to make grilled cheese in the grill pan,” the tween said, when asked what she was up to.

“She’s always cooking,” her mom noted. “This kid is just always cooking.”

Soon, it was time to say goodbye, but Schlapman assured her daughter that she would see her later that night, and discussed with the HSN host that her kids often go out on the road with her.

For  Little Big Town, those next stops on the road will be alongside Miranda Lambert on “The Bandwagon Tour,” which makes stops on Thursday (Aug. 23) in Ontario and Friday (Aug. 24) in Michigan before ending the tour in Chicago on Saturday (Aug. 25.).
