I remember buying Kenny Chesney's first album 22 years ago.  'In My Wildest Dreams' was the superstars first album and it's most memorable single was called 'The Tin Man.' Sixteen albums later, he visits the Hawk airwaves with stories about his new new album the comes out next week (October 28) that includes his big hit with Pink 'Settin' The World On Fire.'

Kenny Chesney returns to 'Country Countdown USA'  Sunday night 7 p.m. to 10 p.m and tells his co-host Lon Helton more about his 17th album Cosmic Hallelujah and his plans for 2017.

Kenny told Lon the title of his new album, "Cosmic Hallelujah," comes from a line in a song.  "I found a song called 'Trip Around the Sun, and it's where Cosmic Hallelujah came from.  It's a phrase from within Trip Around the Sun.  When I heard that, it literally wrapped its arms around what was happening.  Having Pink in my life, and the idea of us singing this song together is a cosmic hallelujah."

Kenny was unable to attend Peyton Manning's retirement party last June.  "I hated that I missed that party because Peyton and I have been friends a long time, and I'm really proud of him."

Kenny tells Lon he took a break after the Spread The Love Tour ended: "I traveled a little.  I went to the islands, and my girlfriend and I went to Italy.  The second day I was there, we were in Venice.  I was trying to take a picture of the sunset.  There was some moss on the steps, and I slipped and fell into the water."

Listen for 'Country Countdown USA,' Sunday night (October 23) beginning at 7 p.m. and a special guest who is expected to call in and surprise Lon toward the end of the show, before 'Retro Country USA' kicks off at 10 p.m.
