Kelsea Ballerini is in the process of creating her new album and has dropped a major detail about a collaborator set to appear.

The young country star spills to Entertainment Tonight that fiance Morgan Evans sings background on a song, adding that she's even written a song or two about him. "And he just sang on it," she says of the track that she also anticipates will be the name of the album. "It's gonna be on the record, and it's cheesy and I like it."

The country star met the Australian singer when they co-hosted the CMC Awards in Brisbane in 2016 and says she knew he was the one within weeks of the relationship. The couple got engaged in late 2016 on Christmas Day.

The "Yeah Boy" singer also says that the new album will be different from her debut with 2015's The First Time, which garnered her three back-to-back No. 1 singles with "Love Me Like You Mean It," "Dibs" and "Peter Pan." The unnamed project will show off the singer's growth and maturity over the past couple years. "This one's definitely more mature because I'm writing it from 21-23 and my life's changed a lot," she admits. "I went through a gross breakup and then I had some growing up discovery years, and then I met Morgan. So I think it captures all of that."

Ballerini is gearing up for her performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards where she's also nominated in the all-genre Best New Artist category alongside fellow country star Maren Morris and other music acts The Chainsmokers, Chance the Rapper and Anderson.Paak.

*This story was updated to reflect that Evans will be a background singer on a song, not a duet partner.
