Keith Urban Takes Over a Hawk Weekend

I know lots of Hawk listeners heading to Canandaigua this weekend to catch Friday night's (6/24) Keith Urban concert.  If you're going, lucky you.  It just so happens Keith takes over a Hawk weekend, where you will be hearing lots of Urban hits.  Saturday (6/25) is Keith and Nicole's 10th wedding anniversary so there is a lot to celebrate this weekend.  And Sunday night at 7, we're lucky enough to have Keith co-hosting Country Countdown USA on the Hawk.

The last time we had Keith on a Hawk Sunday night co-hosting, he seemed a bit lost with what his next album was going to be.  He was searching then for direction.  He obviously found it, because RipCord was released last month, and debuted at #1.

Keith will talk about his Ripcord World Tour, what you can expect to hear if you plan to see him in Syracuse in a few weeks and how summer is going so far with his two daughters joining him on some of his road shows.

In April, Keith held his annual benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.  Luke Bryan was a performer, and when he co-hosted, he said he wanted to watch Keith play guitar on his song.  Keith's response: "It was a win-win, the audience all got to see Luke's butt for a whole performance, so it was a win-win!"
