The Boot announced that Kane Brown's first major EP will be released March 18th and will be titled Chapter 1.

Kane is scheduled to play Binghamton's Magic City Music Hall, Friday, April 29th and you know he will include his current hit that we play all the time on the Hawk, 'Used To Love You Sober,' along with the new music on his Sony Music Nashville release.

Kane also likes to mix it up with his take on some great country classics from the past, including hits by some of idols like George Strait, Johnny Cash and others.

22 year-old Kane Brown is an interesting talent in that he is a young guy and yet, has a great appreciation for the sounds of the past and he knows a good country song, because he writes them.

I think it's kind of neat to have your first album released and you write or co-write every song on it.  That's very unusual today. That speaks volumes for the guy that lists Chris Young as a big influence.  Kane actually co-writes with Chris on his first album.

Here's a list of the self-penned songs that will be on that March 18th release:

1. “Wide Open”
2. “Used to Love You Sober”
3. “Last Minute Late Night”
4.  "Excuses”
5. “There Goes My Everything”

Chapter 1 is available for pre-order on his web site KaneBrownMusic.com.
