Chester (Chet) Labar of Johnson City has been missing for 1,140 days. That means that for the last three years, one month, and 14 days Labar's family has been left wondering where he is and today, authorities are no closer to knowing where he is but they continue to pursue leads. Labar's caught the attention of the National Missing Person's Database (NamUs) and they too have joined the effort to find him.

NamUs has listed some additional identifying information about Labar that was not listed on the original missing person's police report including,  "His name is tattooed on his neck on his right side, Chester. Has his kid's name Ivy, Bradley, Cassidy, Mariah. Skulls tattooed on his right wrist. LaBar across back shoulders."

Chester Labar of Johnson City was last seen on Sunday, October 2, 2016, and now, Johnson City Police are asking for help from the public in finding the missing man who seems to have simply vanished.

According to police, 37-year-old Labar (now 40-years-old he was 37 at the time he went missing), is a white male who stands 5'7” and weighs 140 pounds.

Labar has brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo that reads "Chester" on the left side of his neck. The last time that Labar was seen, he was wearing a maroon hooded sweaters and sneakers. He may have also been carrying a black backpack and may have a goatee. Labar was last seen at the NYPENN Trade Center on Main Street in Johnson City.
