Johnson City Man Arrested In Tire-Stabbing Investigation
Police say a 27-year-old man was ordered held in jail after he allegedly used a knife to stab a tire on a parked car in Tioga County.
Authorities say Joshua Mizell of Johnson City was charged with criminal mischief and menacing.
Investigators say Mizell was arrested following a dispute outside a home on Route 38B in the town of Newark Valley.
During the incident, Mizell is said to have threatened someone with a knife. He then is said to have damaged the tire.
Mizell was arraigned in Owego town court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $500 bail.
