Johnson City Celebrates 90 Years With ‘Carousel Day’ Saturday
There's a big birthday party in Johnson City this weekend and it involves horses, music, cakes, balloons, local dignitaries and lots of happy families celebrating in the Greater Binghamton area.
I had so much fun at last Summer's Carousel Days at CFJ Park in Johnson City and this year's 4th annual event is sure to be an even bigger celebration as the Johnson City's Herschell Carousel turns 90 years old Saturday.
90 years is a milestone in the Johnson City community and it's great the community can come together to celebrate such an important part of our history and heritage. Expect a full day of events beginning at 10am on Saturday with music, food and more. Admission is free and is open to everyone.
