Jay’s Monday Jams

It's cold out, so lets get some hot jams going to get you through the week.

Sometimes all you need is a gritty deep voice and some tangy guitar to cure those winter blues. Brothers Osborne bring both of those things in their new single "Shoot Me Straight." Their signature guitar licks and booming vocals give us another amazing driving song. An ode to telling the truth and having a nice straight drink to clear up a heartbreak, this tune is jammin'.

The theme this week seems to be big guitar and amazing vocals, and Lindsay Ell brings both to the table. Simple is better sometimes, and in this case it delivers on her song "Waiting on You." A bright guitar riff and simple strum backed up by some vocals with soul in them, you can feel Linday's emotion come through in this jam. She also SHREDS on guitar, I'll put her up against Brad Paisley and Hunter Hayes any day!

If we're talking about guitars this week, we can't leave out Vince Gill. A nice little honky tonkin' jam for my throwback jam this week is "One More Last Chance." (Plus the video is funny too.)
