New Music Monday is quickly becoming my new favorite day of the week. Now, Mondays usually have a bad rap, but here is my jams to get you to the weekend, and keep you off your ex's Facebook page at work.

It is no mystery that I think Midland is one of the best things to happen to country music in awhile. I constantly rave about their album "On the Rocks" here and on the air. After a few months of guessing, we officially have their next single of the amazing album. We get a whole bunch of three part harmonies and melodic guitar in "Burn Out." Midland is developing a distinct and unique sound with every new song.

Chase Rice's album "Lambs & Lions" is full of great country music. I featured this song today on my show and listeners kept asking where they can hear it again. I had to post "Three Chords & The Truth." Its not an overly complicated tune, but the simplicity is where the greatness lies.

Can you believe its taken me 13 weeks to finally include Johnny Cash. I can remember the first time I heard " The Man in Black." It was in my friends dad's office as we ate clam chowder, "A Boy Named Sue" popped up on the playlist, and the rest is history. This song is incredible.
