It's been a busy summer for Jason Aldean.  And he stops by the Hawk's Country Countdown USA Sunday night 7-10pm to talk about it.  You can also listen live with the free Hawk app Radio Pup.  Download it HERE free.

In addition to headlining his own Burn It Down Tour, he's been joining forces with Kenny Chesney's Big Revival Tour for about a dozen stadium shows.  In fact, this weekend, Jason and Kenny will play The Rose Bowl in Pasadena.  Jason told Lon Helton that he's been looking forward to this show for a while: "That's one of those places that's pretty special, it's one that when we looked at all the stadiums we were doing, that was one I had circled that I was excited about.  So I'm looking forward to it." That show will take place this Saturday night.

Back in March, Jason married girlfriend Brittney in Mexico.  Officiated was Jason's friend and Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson: "He came down and was our minister, and it meant a lot to me to have someone who was a friend, not a random person.  I was glad he was able to come down for a few days.  The wedding was small, just family and close friends in the wedding party."

One of those close friends was tour-mate Tyler Farr: "He was one of my groomsmen in the wedding."  Tyler got engaged a couple months later, and actually went to Jason for ring advice: "He wanted to know if I knew anybody that he could buy an engagement ring from, so I told him the name of the place I used, and I think he had his bus roll up to the front of the jewelry store, and hop out, go in for an hour, and I think it all went down within a couple days.  He's a rookie, he rolls his bus to the front door.  Mr. Discrete."

In April, Jason picked up his third ACM Male Vocalist award: "It was amazing when I won it the first time. I was so excited, winning it the first time, I was floored.  I figured the next year would be somebody else's turn."

Sunday night at 7, listen for a surprise visitor with the initials LB.  He just happened to be in the building, promoting his album, and he decided to drop in.

Jason also has great stories this week about Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, and Little Big Town.
